"My goals for 2015 is to accomplish my goals from 2014 which I should have done in 2013 because I made a promise in 2012 and planned in 2011''
-Some random twitter account
So its no surprise that were just a couple more days down the road till the New Year and, most if not all of you probably have intentions to do something new and exciting within this upcoming year. Whether it be changing something within your lifestyle, quitting a bad habit or just adding something new and fresh to your daily regime, we've all been there. Trust, I too have numerous goals and ambitions that I would like to see myself accomplish during this upcoming year. And just being how I am ,I always envision and seem to have a clear path paved of where I would like to see myself every year in terms of my personal growth and accomplishments. Whether it be by short-term or long-term. And if your like me its always easier said then done. With that being said its ironic in a sense because I guess the one thing we fail to realize, is when setting a New Years Resolution for ourselves, most of us are set on the intent to be successful in our journey to become better, reinvented more balanced individuals. However, most of us lack the willpower, determination and persistency needed to actually last more than a couple weeks. We make New Year Resolutions by promising to become better people through our declarations to change our actions and lifestyle for the better. But why only limit these plans to reinvent ourselves as a New Year Resolution only? Why not go about our daily business in hopes to accomplish those goals we set for the New years for every inch of our everyday lives instead? The fact of the matter is, New Year goals are sometimes hard to reach because their based primarily in the future. All too often, people set goals that are just a tad bit overwhelming or use of better words, unrealistic. And its funny because as I was surfing the internet I came across this quote------>
"Resolutions are more like a marathon which means more time and effort is required to accomplish goals." and this statement is completely accurate and, instead of trying to accomplish so many goals at once within a period of time why not just take things as they come and go? On the real though, I want each and everyone of you reading this to set daily goals each and every day in this upcoming year as a means to accomplish everything you intend to do this year and to take it one step at a time so you reinvent and create yourself at a persistent pace. Just like if you were to run a marathon, you would take your time but put in that extra work and effort. If that even makes sense...
Anyways to conclude this post. I wish every single one of you a happy, prosperous, and well lived New Year, and new and exciting things to come.
until next time peace and blessings
xoxo Musulyn
